Every child carries their own light. Some shine loudly, some glow quietly, and some are still figuring out where their spark is. Taiyō makes clothing for all of them, with the freedom to go explore.
Taiyō means "sun" in Japanese. It's a word about warmth, growth, and new beginnings.
Our story started in Amsterdam, when our founder went looking for clothes for her daughter that felt exciting, modern, and a little different, and found nothing. So she made the pieces she wished existed. The styles she'd want to wear herself, sized down for a smaller, braver person.
We give kids' clothing the same design attention most brands save for adults. But we're not shrinking adult clothes. We're scaling up the attitude and the function. Taiyō is built to handle whatever a kid throws at it, without giving up the style.
